The 1988 Cizeta-Moroder V16T returns to auction with an estimated value between $1.4 and $1.8 million. This is the original prototype with chassis 001, the only example to bear the Cizeta-Moroder name before Giorgio Moroder left the project. Born from the collaboration between Claudio Zampolli, a former Lamborghini executive, and the famous Italian music producer, the supercar took shape in Modena thanks also to the contribution of designer Marcello Gandini, who reused the project originally intended for the Lamborghini Diablo. The naturally aspirated 6.0-liter V16 engine delivers 540 hp, allowing a top speed of 203 mph. After more than thirty years in Moroder’s private collection, the ultra-rare prototype is now returning to the market as one of the most sought-after pieces by collectors.
