The Ferrari Luce Chassis 0, the first production electric car in the history of the Prancing Horse, was sold for $40 million during Monterey Car Week 2026. Proceeds from the charity auction organized by RM Sotheby's will fund educational initiatives of the Ferrari Foundation. Customized through the Tailor Made program, the car features Madreperla Semi-Gloss paint and exclusive interior trim. The Luce uses four independent electric motors, delivering a maximum output of 1,050 hp with Launch Control, 0-62 mph in 2.5 seconds, and a top speed of 193 mph. The 800-volt battery offers about 329 miles of range and supports charging up to 350 kW. Chassis 0 will return to Maranello before the scheduled delivery in 2027.
