Volkswagen Motorsport South Africa has created a spectacular Golf with over 1,000 hp to celebrate the brand's 75th anniversary in the country. Intended exclusively for hill climb competition, the car replaces the Golf R's classic four-cylinder engine with the famous Audi RS3 2.5-liter turbo five-cylinder, extensively modified with forged components, a larger turbocharger, and a carbon intake. One standout feature is the exhaust exiting through the front bumper. The body adopts an extreme aerodynamic kit with widened wheel arches, a huge rear wing, and a dedicated diffuser. The project is completed by a reinforced all-wheel-drive system and an AP Racing braking system, turning the Golf into a true competition car.
