The Xiaomi SkyNomad N90 is one of the most surprising SUVs on the Chinese market. Measuring 17.3 feet long and available with 5 or 7 seats, it will debut at the Chengdu Auto Show on August 21 with a claimed electric range of 314 miles in the CLTC cycle, a record figure for a range-extender model. The system combines a 1.5-liter gasoline engine acting as a generator with a 76 kWh NMC battery supplied by CALB and two electric motors that jointly produce 416 hp and provide all-wheel drive. Thanks to this configuration, the N90 surpasses rivals such as Leapmotor D19, Leapmotor D99, Xpeng X9, IM LS9, Denza N8L, and Zeekr 9X, confirming its place among the hybrids with the greatest electric range currently available on the Chinese market.
