Peregryn Automotive enters the territory of American supercars by relaunching the former Ultima GT-S and GT-R in the United States. After acquiring the British brand’s intellectual property, rights, and equipment, the company aims to produce lightweight, mid-engine coupes focused on track performance. The GT-S represents the entry-level road-going version, while the GT-R will be the more extreme variant, with a General Motors V8 producing more than 710 hp, a sequential gearbox, and a driving setup deliberately more analog than the Corvette ZR1. The claimed figures cite approximately 2,101 lb of dry weight, 0-62 mph acceleration in 2.2 seconds, and a top speed exceeding 200 mph. Production will be limited, with a starting price of around 180,000 euros and first deliveries expected in 2027.
