The British manufacturer evaluated several solutions, from turbo V6s to V12s, before choosing the ten-cylinder for its immediate response and driving involvement. Derived from Formula 1 experience, the engine uses advanced technologies but was designed to be reliable and usable by customers without the continuous support of technicians.
