2026 could mark the turning point for electric cars thanks to the arrival of premium SUVs designed on dedicated platforms, such as the Volvo EX60, electric Mercedes GLC, and BMW iX3. The EX60 stands out for its perceived quality, refined and recycled materials, spacious cabin, and an Android Automotive infotainment system with Gemini, among the best for voice assistance. Built in Sweden on the new SPA3 platform, it offers batteries up to 117 kWh and a maximum WLTP range of 810 km. In the 95 kWh, 510 hp version, it charges from 10 to 80% in 16 minutes. On the road, it impresses with comfort, quietness, and electronic suspension, while the recorded consumption of about 20 kWh/100 km translates into a real-world range of about 475 km.
