At the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed, it’s not just performance that takes center stage. Among the event’s key players is Alcantara, the Italian company that produces the eponymous interior material chosen by numerous automakers to upholster the seats, steering wheel, and dashboard of their latest models. Alcantara is featured in the new BMW iX5, the McLaren 750S Spider, the Renault 5 Turbo 3E, the Hyundai IONIQ 5 N Line and IONIQ 6 N Line, as well as the Alpine A110 R 70 and the Kimera K39. The material also has a presence in the Supercar Paddock, where it is used by brands such as Aston Martin, Ferrari, Maserati, McLaren, Pagani, and Gordon Murray Automotive, confirming its status as one of the benchmark upholstery materials for sports and luxury cars thanks to its lightness, grip, and customization potential.
